Right. Who wants a flabby brain? Way back in the days of the Romans, Cicero said, “It is exercise alone that supports the spirits, and keeps the mind in vigor.” Of course, he did not have to say that exercise keeps your body fit as well. Exercise your brain, too. But what does that have to do with calorie shifting?

Everything. For all of these centuries we have known that exercise supports wellness and helps to keep people fit long into their old age. It is only in these recent years of sedentary work places and long hours of television or computer use that our bodies began to complain and become flabby from inattention and lack of use. Let me spell it out. When we keep fit physically, our brains benefit. Exercise helps to keep us fit. Eating properly and maintaining a healthy body weight helps to keep us fit.
